How has the history of GECO developed?
Company establishment
1992
Start of operations of the company based in Bronowice. Initially, we sold machines and components for the production of ice cream and showcases for selling ice cream.
First thermostats
1995
Production of the first thermostats for refrigeration devices.
Heating controllers
1998
Introduction of heating controllers for sale for Polish producers of solid fuel boilers.
ISO certification
2001
The company's production and management policy, which has continued for many years, has been confirmed by quality certificates. In 2001, the Quality Management System ISO 9001 was introduced and is still in use.
"Business Gazelle" title
2003
In 2003, the newspaper "Puls Biznesu" honoured GECO with the prestigious "Business Gazelle 2003" award, confirming that it belongs to the group of companies developing dynamically in Poland.
New headquarters
2009
The company’s dynamic development led to the creation of a new headquarters with larger production facilities, a warehouse and office space. Currently, the main building of GECO is located in Cholerzyn near Kraków Balice airport.
